Objectives
  • Support for residential buildings energy efficiency regulation and policy development.

Supporting effective financial instruments for residential energy efficiency investments.

Target group(s)
Government of Ukraine, Ministry of Regional development, residents of private buildings and multi-family buildings, local banks.

Final beneficiaries
Owners of individual housing, co-owners of multifamily apartment buildings, all residents of Ukraine.

Estimated results
Improved EE characteristics of residential buildings through implementation of EE measures with the political, technical and financial support of the Government of Ukraine and IFI’s.

Main activities
  • Support GoU with development of technical standards for improvement of EE performance of buildings
Establish a List of Eligible Materials and Equipment (LEME) and a List of Eligible Suppliers (LESI) and Installers for residential energy efficiency investments in Ukraine
Analyse households’ energy bill affordability and recommendations for a social safety net
Analyse barriers and make recommendations for an incentive structure to unlock the market potential
